has a mini supermarket, and there is a fresh fish and game shop with fresh vegetables.  Seasonal shellfish such as lobster, mussels, cockles and oysters can be bought direct from local fishermen.  The highly recommended White Horse restaurant and pub and the Jolly Sailor pub are both within a few minutes easy walking distance from Pear Tree Cottage, each providing exceptionally good local food.
